we left St. Poelten on Saturday evening....the relatives were crying on the platform as our train left. ha ha ha NO, but they waved us goodbye and wished us a save trip!!!
After we found our seats, me little Eva forgot to take out her waterbottles as I put my backpack in the luggage thing (I don't know how it's called in English), and so it hit the lady next to me...ooops! but she survived....what a good start for us.
We didn't sleep a lot. It was very loud at the beginning in the train...some people were drinking too much beer and so you know what happens then..they get wild and crazy. he he he in Germany every time we stopped another person came into our compartment so we slept maybe 3 hours. Now we feel like we have partied for 3 days without going to bed!

In Cologne we switched trains to Aachen. In Aachen we had to wait for our train to Bruxelles 2 hours so we bought some breakfast and enjoyed the beautiful sunny morning.
On the train to Bruxelles we played some UNO, Monika always won! The rest of the trainride we tried to catch some sleep...
The conductour or the guy who sold something to drink and eat thought we were Bavarians, because of our dialect. ha ha no bavarians, AUSTRIANS of course!!!!
So now we are here and it's soooooooo HOT!!!!!!!!!!! We were melting today, and also the belgium chocolate. We were walking a lot. We went to the Grand Place. There are a lot of old beautiful buildings, then we went into a lot of CHOCOLATE stores....yummy! Magda, you would love it there!!! It's like in Vienna with the H M stores, every couple metres another one. That's life! Then we walked to the palace of the queen and king where you can make tours, we didn't make one. instead we went to the beautiful park next to it and enjoyed the beautiful weather. After that we got some ice cream, really expensive, at Haagen Dasz. Mine was really good, Monika's not so.
By the way, Monika saw a naked man in the park...but the only problem was he was a statue....what a shit.
For all friends in Austria, I saw a guy with a Media Markt bag and you know what it said, "je ne suis pas fou" "ich bin doch nicht bloed" auf franzoesisch....ha ha ha! This slogan is everywhere, aah!
We've already learned some more vocabulary and talked already a couple times in french. So here our new vocabulary,
sirop d'erable means maple sirup / Ahornsirup
gant means glove / handschuh
we are pretty good...till yet everyone has understood us. Yeah!!!
By accident we also saw Mannekin Pis! He is the mascott of Bruxelles...a little boy pees. we even took a picture with our face in it....he he he
Our hostel is very nice, very colourful. They had to change our booking to an 8 room as there was no 6 or 4 room available. But that's okay, we are anyways only 2 days here. The roommates we met so far are very nice. there is a guy from birmingham who travels alone and a girl I have just seen for a minute, but she seems really nice.
now we are smelling food, because everybody is cooking dinner in the hostel kitchen...yummy
Tomorrow we wanna go to the Atomium, that costs 9 euro and maybe make a tour through the EU Parliament, that's free of charge, so that's cool. for luxembourg we don't know if we will have enough time then. let's see.
I guess that's it for now...we took already over 50 pictures! we can't upload them right now, but we will put them in the blog when we are back in Austria.
we hope you are all doing well, he he and have fun at work! WE enjoy our trip and the perfect hot weather....you can contact us if you leave a comment at our blog, or email us, sometimes we will check our emails too.
so take care...
